well, happy days appear to be on the horizon here. after all these months, I’m going back to work.
What wonderful news! Congratulations!!!
I’ve been doing some decompressing here, recovering from summer classes and gearing up for a new job hunt. Hearing of your success gives me inspiration and hope.
Raising a glass to you and yours ….

thank you, and good luck with your hunt. it’s been 10 months, I really REALLY needed a job and I lucked out with what may be the best job of my life. your choice of music is spot on.
my first week back in big girl shoes left me with six blisters to heal after shuffling around in slippers and flip-flops all this time. my advice to all job-seekers is “don’t lose your callouses!”
so I have to study to earn some new credentials, along with an incredibly long list of new names, faces and spaces to learn, and I get to go to one of the most beautiful places in my corner of the world every morning. my new computer is on order, and my boss jokes that my first job is to find the place where my office will be (a lease is pending and there may be connectivity issues), so I’m winging it with a blackberry for a few weeks while I help some other people get settled into their bright shiny new digs . how cool is that?
