On The New Dan Patrick Show: The Facts, Dan, just the Facts:

I have listened to shows in the past where I have heard him contradict himself within the same hour. Unless it involves a favorite sports figure or team of mine (as it might with you and Santana) I try to look at it as part of the show’s charm. …
And Karl added: Don’t take the Mets thing personal. DP makes mistakes on my teams. He’s on live and working without a net. …
I don’t think DP makes many mistakes, which is why his statement on Santana threw me for a loop. But I’ll cut him some slack; he’s not really a baseball guy. I won’t start haranguing him with a DanPatrickWatch blog.
I’m hoping that DP does a good recap of the Roger Clemens “60 Minutes” interview tomorrow. I didn’t watch it tonight. Didn’t see the point. For one thing, it’s going to be covered to death by the media and I’m sure someone will post a transcript so I can read it later if I want. For another, the interview was conducted by Mike Wallace, a friend of Clemens. Yesirree, Bob: That’s hard-hitting journalism. For yet another, it’s an interview and not a trial so Clemens does not speak under oath. I’ll pay closer attention when he testifies before Congress.
I hope Dennis Kucinich will get in a few questions; he’s a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform which will be holding the hearings. They’re sure to get wall-to-wall news coverage, and this will be one of the few ways he can get on tv during the presidential race.
