The New Dan Patrick Show: Evil Palaver

Or “People we’d like to hear on the Dan Patrick Show.”

Thanks to Hawaii, Karl, and judie4mets for their contributions, all of which have not yet been incorporated into the list. I wasn’t sure what to call it; “People we’d like to hear on the Dan Patrick Show” is descriptive but not very interesting. “Evil Palaver” has a nice ring to it.

I put the list on a separate page so that it can be easily found. There is some overlap across categories (David Letterman could be placed in “Celebrities” as well as “Media”) and certain individuals fit more than one category (I put Bill Bradley in “Sports Figures,” but he could be in “Political Figures”).

The chance that DP will get Doris Kearns Goodwin on the show? Slim-to-none. As much as DP pokes fun at Bob Costas, I think he really wants to be Bob Costas: sports journalist and Renaissance Man. I like DP a lot, but I don’t really think he has what it takes to be like Costas.

Evil Palaver is a work in progress. Suggestions for additions, improved organization and/or layout, etc. gladly accepted.
