Did I miss the memo?
I thought this was supposed to be DP’s Farewell Week.
“Week.” I always thought that meant seven days, or five in the sense of “work week.”
I guess ESPN has decided that since it can redefine “sports” to mean gunk like “Who’s Now?” they’ve decided they can redefine what “weeK” means. I have a bad feeling that DP’s “Farewell Week” is going to be Friday.
To make things worse today’s hosts are Yankee suck-up Michael Kay (who even Yankee fans don’t like) and Steve Phillips (former general manager of the Mets who hates the Mets for firing him and so takes every opportunity possible to run the team down).
Well, OK. It could be worse. Today’s host could be Stephen A. Smith.
