Les writes: This is a interesting idea but if they were going to do this they would have just done it and not let it drag on like it’s been going. And could Dan’s ego stand it? He has fans but Olberman is a bigger star-look at all the Olbeman fan sites out there and not one for Dan.
Barb retorts: Read the eulogy, Les. This blog is named after KO, but it shows love for DP, too. The auction idea was great, but I don’t it’s going to happen. Too bad. I would have placed a bid on the boys!
Scoop queries: What exactly would such an experience be? Would you get to actually go on the air? Eat penne and curly fries with them? What?
Jenn suggests: They let you ring the home run bell?
Hey, if this wasn’t a DP fan site then would I have written a eulogy for his show? And picked out a funeral song?
It doesn’t look likely that a Big Show Experience will be auctioned off for the V Foundation. Too bad,
But if it did happen, here are few things they could include in the package:
- Help Phil the Showkiller answer the phone; try to not hang up on anyone
- Ring the home run bell
- A pair of Bill’s Khakis
- A beautiful bouquet from Pro Flowers (don’t forget to use Dan’s name for the password!)
- A crate of Salonpas (”Pain. Who needs it? And why does it always happen when you want to be active?”)
- You get to answer the Onstar Hotline
- A University of Dayton basketball jersey autographed by DP
- An autographed KO tie (and don’t even think of auctioning it off on eBay)
